🪙Oro Token
$ORO is an Ethereum-based token designed to capture demand generated by the Oro Protocol.
When the protocol’s gold trading activity produces realized profit, a fixed portion of that profit is used to buy $ORO from the open market. Tokens purchased through this process are permanently removed from circulation. Over time, this reduces supply as a direct result of protocol performance.
$ORO has no emissions, no rebasing mechanics, and no discretionary minting. The total supply can only decrease through protocol-driven buyback and burn activity.
The token does not grant control over protocol funds or trading operations. Its role is intentionally narrow: $ORO reflects demand created by execution in gold markets, rather than incentives, rewards, or narrative-driven issuance.
As the ecosystem expands, $ORO will also be used as a utility and settlement asset for protocol features such as market access and physical gold redemption.
